Schloss Hugenpoet, Essen
220 Drones
About the show
In the exclusive setting of Schloss Hugenpoet, embedded in historical elegance and surrounded by manicured gardens, we staged a marriage proposal that combined romance and technological sophistication to perfection.
The bride-to-be was met in the courtyard by a violinist - who played live, emotionally and with care. Accompanied by romantic melodies, the path led her through the atmospherically lit castle until her partner was waiting for her at the back of the estate - all in white, against the nocturnal backdrop of the garden, with the illuminated date ‘10.09.’ above him as a tribute to their shared birthday.
220 drones then formed a shimmering jewellery box above the treetops, from which a sparkling ring floated and hovered in perfect motion on the finger of an elegantly depicted hand. The drones formed to the question ‘Do you want to be my Forever?’ - in soft white, high in front of the castle, carried by the silent wonder of the night and at the same time our client heard a nerve-soothing ‘yes’.
The two newly engaged couples and clapping surprise guests, consisting of friends and family of the two, were then able to marvel at further show elements for the celebration and start the new phase of life so magically.
A proposal staged as a visual composition - intimate and impressive at the same time. Light, sound, architecture and emotion united in a moment that changed everything.
