Dieses Mal gab es leider keine Show für ein Live-Publikum zu bewundern. Dafür haben wir aber einen kleinen Beitrag zur Werbung der E-Mobilität gegeben, den Ihr euch heute noch anschauen könnt.
Zur Unterstützung des Social Media Auftritts des neuen E-Autos des Autoherstellers Ford wurden wir für die Produktion eines Werbeclips gebucht. Unter dem Motto “Exploring Reinvented” haben wir zusammen mit den Kollegen von Cinequads den neuen “Ford Explorer” präsentiert.

Project description
The request
The advertising agency ‘Envy Create’ from the UK asked us on behalf of Ford to take part in an advertising clip to present the production of the new ‘Ford Explorer’. The ‘Ford Explorer’ is one of the latest cars from the car manufacturer's e-mobility division and went into series production at Ford's Electric Vehicle Center in Cologne on 4 June 2024.
With our drone shows, we naturally also want to pave the way for contemporary and environmentally friendly forms of open-air shows, which is why we were happy to agree to this project. Ford sees great synergies with drone shows here. The sustainable and innovative image of the drone show can go hand in hand with the car and advertising campaign.
The preparation
We mastered the challenge of the short lead time with commitment and professionalism. This circumstance nevertheless characterised the preparations. Thanks to highly efficient communication, our designers were still able to respond immediately to customer requests and create a show exactly according to the wishes of the Carolina Panthers. We were in constant contact with the agency and their clients and sent the proofs to the client for correction as soon as motifs or animations were ready.
Together with our colleagues from Cinequads, we also coordinated the flight routes of the drones that were responsible for filming and editing.
The realisation
To capture the best angles and images for the clip, we decided on two runs of the same drone show. For the shots in which the car and drones are in motion at the same time, all elements had to be well coordinated. We set up the drones so that we could take off directly into the air when the car drove off so that we could get the perfect shots with the video drone. For the other part of the shoot, we kept our samples hovering in the air until we had the best images in the can.
The conclusion
We have received great praise from those responsible and also from employees at the plant. In addition to being posted on social media, the almost TV-ready clip can also be seen on YouTube with well over 5,000 views. This project was a great opportunity to draw attention to e-mobility and show what is possible with drone technology.
